About HeritageTag

HeritageTag was born at the intersection of two obsessions: the romance of the automobile and the belief that every car has a story worth preserving.

We are a small team of car people, engineers, and designers who noticed something missing on the show field. Spectators would walk past extraordinary machines — decades of restoration, family history, engineering triumph — and have no way to know what they were looking at. A placard might list the year and make, but it never captured the late nights in the garage, the cross-country rally, or the original purchase invoice still tucked in the glovebox.

So we built a badge that closes that gap. An art-deco tag, machined and printed with care, that sits in the window and invites a tap. No app. No account. Just the car, speaking for itself.

Every HeritageTag is minted, programmed, and shipped by hand. We work with show organizers and clubs to produce batches tailored to their events, and we support individual owners who want one tag for a single beloved machine. The technology is modern — NFC, responsive web pages, instant updates — but the spirit is old-fashioned: respect for the car, respect for the owner, and a quiet pride in craftsmanship.
