My father brought this Cadillac home the year I was born, and I learned to drive it on the back roads outside Murfreesboro. When he passed, the keys came to me, and I wasn't about to let it sit in a garage.
It went through a careful body-off restoration in the late nineties and still rides like a front parlor on wheels. We named her Maybelle, after my grandmother, who never once missed a Sunday drive.
