1929 Hispano-Suiza H6B

1929 · Dual-Cowl Phaeton

Hispano-SuizaH6B

Hispano-Suiza built engines for fighter planes in the Great War, then turned the same precision to motor cars.

The H6B's overhead-cam straight-six and servo-assisted brakes — the first of their kind — set the template every luxury maker would follow.

This chassis carries coachwork by Hibbard & Darrin of Paris, one of fewer than a dozen surviving Hispanos with their original bodies intact.
